Welcome to Tobacco Factory Plus
The Tobacco Factory Theatre is not only a place of performance, but also one of creation, development and learning.
Tobacco Factory Plus is our name for all the other activities that go on here, giving you the opportunity to get involved and get even more out of your local theatre. Whether you’re an audience member, young person or theatre maker (or all three!), TF+ has something for you.

TF+ for Audiences
For audience members, TF+ is all about getting more out of going to the theatre.
Some people come here just to see a show; others like to have the chance to engage with a production on another level. TF+ is about helping you to do this through post-show discussions, directors’ talks, discussion groups and a whole lot more…

TF+ for Theatre Makers
At the Tobacco Factory we host visiting shows from some of the best and most exciting companies and artists working today, but we also produce, co-produce and tour our own work.
In addition, we assist in the production of work by other companies both in this theatre and elsewhere and we have been consciously growing new routes through which we help companies and artists in the development of both work and their own skills.

TF+ for Younger Audiences
The TF is proud of its developing programme of shows and activities for young people. TF+ for young audiences is all about getting young people into the theatre and helping them to get more out their experiences when they’re here, whether they visit us with school, family or friends.
