For Audiences

Suck it and See!

We know that the range of shows on offer at the TF can sometimes seem a little overwhelming. We also know that many of our audience members want to experiment with coming to see different things, but don’t quite know where to start. This is why we have Suck it and See!: to make it easier (and cheaper) for you to try out shows you wouldn’t normally see, giving you the chance to experience the breadth of our programme and find new things to enjoy.

How do we decide what shows are part of our S&S! scheme? It’s very simple, really. It works on a ‘you liked this; you may also like this’ basis. We pair up shows across our season that have something in common. All you need to do is buy a full price ticket to one of them and you can get a cheaper ticket to the other. What’s not to like?

Suck it and See! Jan - April 2012

There are no fewer than 35 different shows on at the TF and Brewery Theatres between January and April 2012. That’s a lot of shows, and you’d be forgiven for feeling a trifle overwhelmed. But fear not, we’re here to help! These are our suggestions for this season. We think they’re top-notch and hope you will too.

Shakespeare
Book for King Lear and see Henry VIII on Weds 11, Tues 17 & Weds 18 Jan for just £5.

Music
Book for John Peel’s Shed and see What I Heard About the World on Fri 09 Mar for just £5.

Visual Theatre
Book for Belleville Rendez-vous and see The Vanishing Horizon Tues 01 & Weds 02 May for just £5.

There are a limited number of Suck and See! tickets available, so please book early to avoid disappointment. And after you’ve seen your S&S! show, we’ll email you a short questionnaire asking you about your experience.

(PS Want to experiment but don’t know where to start? Email us on suckitandsee@tobaccofactory.com, telling us about something that you’ve seen recently that you’ve enjoyed and we’ll suggest something else. We like to think we’re quite good at this.)
